Monterey County offers a number of places you can visit/stay with your dog. There are several pet-friendly hotels and a couple of great beaches (Carmel and Asilomar in Pacific Grove) to let him romp "off leash."

Call the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau 888-221-1010to get more information. It's a great destination for families, couples, or anyone!

We live in CT and were looking for a vacation for the 2/14/04 to 2/22/04 school vacation week to go with our dog + 2 children which will be fun. Any suggestions?

Would love to see that magazine...we have a wonderful little dog and every year we go on vacation the 4th of July week and she will be almost a year old come July and we want to take her with us to the beach...Candace
