Possible?..Cats to UK w/o quarantine??

Does anyone know, under the new law that lets pets come into the UK from 'certain' countries w/o quarantine, if it is possible to come from the US w/ documentation of pet immunizations and avoid quarantine??

Or does anyone know if you can move from the US to a country in Europe, and then move to the UK after 6 months to a year, to avoid quarantine???

Marny: Have you learned anything new about the quarantine? I am not familiar with any new laws. If you can provide me with some information or contacts I would be most grateful. I am planning to move to Wales and will be hearbroken to leave my cat for 6 months.
