Can anyone help me on a good place to go for cheap flights to oz? flying into Melbourne or Sydney

Hi - yes, there are a few options. Qantas have a 2 week package out ex L.A. for US$1499:00 which includes Melbourne, Sydney & Barrier Reef for departures May 1 to August 31 but you must book by January 31 2001. Includes all domestic flights within Oz & 12 nights accommodation in 3/4 star Hotels. Sounds like value to me since summer fares alone are usually $1200+. Book online at www.qantas.com.au or (800)96 KOALA but please be sure to extend your journey to South Australia - I'm based in Adelaide & will be glad to meet you - it's worth the extra time & $$$ !!

Leaving Friday evening 9th January 2004 from say Gatwick or Heathrow whichever is the cheapest don't mind which airline but must be an evening flight from around 7.30pm onwards to SYDNEY. The return part of the journey would be departing from MELBOURNE Monday 26th January to London arriving on an early morning flight on
Tuesday 27th January or even if it was cheaper to go say Friday 23 January Departing Monday 9th February arriving again early Tuesday 10 February back in UK. If it is cheaper to just do a flight departing and arriving from MELBOURNE then please quote for that as well. As long as we are away any Friday evening during January and back two weeks later arriving on a Tuesday morning (7 am latest return).
