We are planning a family trip to Australia. Is Kangaroo Island worth the visit? We are also going to Tangalooma to swim with the Dolphins. Is that worth it? Any other great ideas for kids in Australia? Our current plans are for Syndey, Carins and Hayman

Hi Tracy, I've only just found your question so it may already be too late - you didn't say when you were coming but yes, Kangaroo Island is definitely worth the visit. I'm based in Adelaide, South Australia and specialise in K.I.
Please view me at http://www.aussieassist.com and email me if I can help with anything at all...
I offer a free Meet & Greet and Hosting service to first time visitors - well worth having you don't know where to go or how much to pay!

Hi!
I have been to Australia and I want to let you know that Kangaroo Island is definetly worth the trip. I went there two years ago at the age of 16 and I had a wonderful time. A few ideas of things to do are to see a sheep farm, go to a bee place where they can show you the honey, the boxes, the bees, and explain everything, walk on the beaches and collect sea shells or build sand castles, and going through the area to see the trees and all the nature, there are also some nature places you can go to see the animals. It is definetly worth the ferry trip over(this is the only way you can get there.) You will definetly have a wonderful time in Cairns, the rainforest and in Syndney with the opera house, the zoos, and plenty of other entertainment. Enjoy your trip.
