Taking a cat into Spain

Can anybody tell me if Spain have any quarentine laws regarding taking animals in? I would be taking the cat from Bahrain (Middle East)which is a rabies-free island but is not yet an accepted country for the UK PETS scheme.

we wish to bring our cat into Spain from Riyadh - Saudi Arabia. She has had al necessary injectons including rabies. Is there any offical licences for this purpose. We have purchased a villa there and will be moving shortly. Thankyou
