Hi

we maybe moving to Canada and my son unfortunately has just got a baby rabbit for his birthday. He would prefer to take it if we were to go.

can a rabbit be taken into Canada ?
is it possible to take them on a plane ?

what if any are restrictions/quaruatine issues ?

Current regulations permit import of pets into Canada by land, sea or air with proof of rabies vaccination from a recognized veternarian. (Your family's vet should provide this on letterhead free of charge.) Regarding pets other than cats and dogs, please contact the nearest office of the Canadian Consulate, or call the Canadian Consulate General in New York at 212-596-1783.
