Moving to England with a cat

What are the requirements for my cat to move to the UK with me? I've heard the quarantine is no longer in effect, but I haven't been able to find any concrete information. The cat going with me is a necessity. Any help would be truly truly appreciated.

When will there be an up date, if animals from America can travel to England without being a six month closure for the cat.
