A maximum of 3 cats and only 1 can be a kitten 3 - 6 months old. You must provide a valid rabies vaccination certificate AND health certificate. must be vaccinated at least 1 month prior to departure and no longer than 1 year. Got in formation off web French Custom & Excise - pets. You will need to fill out import certificate form availible at the site.

Do I have to get the blood rabbies test prior to taking the cat to France? The cat is a diabetic will that be a problem? His last rabbies vaccaine was 3/9/03 he is fine there but I heard you have to get the blood test and wait three months. We leave for good 7/31/03 and I cannot find anyone to care for him due to his diabetes and may have to put him down. Any help would save me a broken heart.
