Does anyone have any feedback on Club Med at Sand Piper. We would like to go there with out 2 year old and was wondering how it was.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian

We went to Sand Piper last April with our then 2 1/2 and 5 year old. I chose it specifically because it had activities for our youngest child. Both the kids loved it. They can be signed in and out of the kids club whenever you wish. The little ones take naps after lunch, and I believe must have dinner with the parents. They can then go back in the evening after dinner for a couple of hours, if you wish.
I had trouble finding a travel agent in the St. Louis area who had dealt with Club Med, so I used a travel agent recommended by FTF who is a Club Med specialist. Her name is Lauren Goldenberg. She can be reached at: thefamilytraveler@attbi.com. (Her agency is in Florida). Her phone number is: 904-636-9040. She was really helpful. I wanted to be able to talk to someone who had been there and could tell me about it.
We were also really impressed with the meals. They are all buffet, but the selection and quality are excellent given the number of people they are serving.
There are lots of activities, and side trips you can take. We never left the property - it was just nice not to do much of anything for me.
The hotel store stocks pampers, swim diapers, etc. You might want to bring a thermometer just in case- they didn't have those. They do have a nurse there at certain hours during the week, which is nice - another reason we chose Club Med.
I hope this helps. If you want more info, please feel free to contact me, or Lauren.
