Nepal is a fascinating country to visit, Kathmundu is a very busy place but is where most people start their Nepal trip, some very nice hotels in Kathmandu (http://www.nongasia.com/nepal.html), the Yak and Yeti Hotel is a bargain withe very comfortable rooms and good service.
