Why not to think of traveling to Central Asia? Thousands years of history, Great Silk Road, a comfortable way to China...Includes Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan. Very amicable people, safe and stable situation. Great monuments to see.
