Ipod charging backpack

This sounds like a really cool idea - to have a backpack that will charge your ipod and your phone. it's a power source for your electronics that you can have anywhere. It looks a little dorky tho because the back pack has solar cells on it.

I think there are more things like this, like a beach bag that will power your electronics too. But has anyone tried them to see if they work ok?

Family Travel Forum actually tried out a Voltaic Systems solar backpack and there is a review of the bag live on the website. Turns out they really do work and they are made of recycled materials. Voltaic Systems has 4 different types of bag but none are beach bags, though there may be other companies that make a solar beach bag.
