Hello,
I will be going to Panama in January at the decameron hotel. Can someone tell me how it is and also what can we do there

It WAS SPECTACULAR. THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL,THE FACILITIES WERE NEW AND BEAUTIFUL. I ESPECIALLY ENJOYED THE MORNING AEROBICS CLASSES.We also played tennis,ping pong, rented jet skis, windsurfed, went horse back riding, took a banana boat ride. It is a great place to get in shape. There are about 80 stairs from the pools to the main lobby. We would get up early in the morning and do laps of the resort. I can still feel the burn in my legs from taking the stairs for the fourth lap. Ohhh yeahhh!! If you get up early you can beat the heat. We usually had an afternoon nap between 12 and 2 to avoid the deadly rays. HAVE A PINA COLADA FOR ME PLEASE. I WISH I HAD NEVER LEFT.
THE ONLY DOWNFALL WAS THE LACK OF NIGHTLY ENTERTAINMENT. THE DISCOTECH WAS SMALL AND CROWDED AND THE NIGHTLY SHOW WAS ENTERTAINING, FOR THE FIRST FEW NIGHTS. OH WELL, GET UP EARLY AND GO TO BED EARLY I GUESS.

They had a theme song at the resort. It is stuck in my head and I am trying to figure out who sings it so I can get a copy. Can anyone help?

I went there last year, and Im going back in March I made a copy of the music.

The main theme song was called Ragga-ragga. And yeah, the resort was amazing!!!!

The theme song is called Romeo y Julieta, we won a copy of the Cd. It doesn't say who sings it.

A little late in coming, but the theme song is not Romeo y Julieta. That was just the first song on the CD. (I have it also.) It is actually called Ragga Ragga.

I went to the Decameron last April. I have never been to a resort that had nicer grounds. It is considered to be one of the world's first eco-friendly resorts. On the property is the Balboa tree which I was told is over 600 years old. The pools are great, they have fountains on all of them and they are seven, I thinkg\

well, you can enjoy your day here in panama, the decameron is a resort like the other, with all you can eat and all you can dreank indluded in the prices, they have there a aquasport entertiment you can rent sea doo or go at the banana boat, also you can dance in the the night at a little but nice disco,you can rent moto, and also you can go to "el valle de anton" Panama is beatufull i am sure that you want to stay here with us.

Can anyone tell me if there are any snorkelling or scuba diving tours from the resort. As I have heard that the water is rough and murky and the Royal Decameron. My husband and I plan to go in Jan 2004.

Heading to the Royal Decameron Panama end of Feb.
Can anyone recommend some good tours out of the resort? Is there something we should take to make our trip more comfortable or fun? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Panama Royal Decameron is the most beautiful place we have ever been. The staff are fantastic, the food is delicious and the drinks are a tropical delight. We went on the 4x4's and had a ball. Take a break or do the activities it's up to you. Have a great time at the best resort ever.

We are thinking about spending Thanksgiving in 04. We will be 6 adults with 4 children, 2 are 12 yrs. old and one is 7 and 1 is 10. Are there activities for children. What about snorkeling and diving? Please reply.

its a beautiful exotic country and the hotel is exquisite. It'slike a paradise. The water's always warm,and the sun's always hot. The hotel has plenty of recreational events that take place during the day and at night. They also have a night club - Youcan salsa dance all night. I had a great time there.I hope you do too.
