Hello Robin,

We are planning a 2-3 week with our 4 kids (3,6,8,11) and we considered Ecuador and the Galapagos. So far the Galapagos seems to expensive for us. Any tips about traveling with kids in Ecuador?

I am an ex-Galapagos guide. As an ex, I don't represent any company (other than my own). For independent info on Galapagos, see the IGTOA.org site or http://naturalistnet.net. These sites will give you the latest info, prices, etc on ALL operators. I do have a trip going in Jan 2003, but it would probably be a bit pricey for you. Look on the "Galapalinks" page to find the best independent information.

WE loved the JW Marriott in Quito for the first 2 and last night. The service was 5 star! I rarely ssay that about anyone.

We chartered our own boat. The Coral 2 with 4 families. Saved a lot of money doing it this way
