I'm interested in taking our family to Maine this summer. We're fairly simple travelers and actively shun cruises/laying on the beach kind of trips. We like to see the local history and get a feel for the different places we visit.
We have two boys, 5 and 8, who are good travelers. Any suggestions on lodges or family resorts, great campsites, etc. I've seen lots of ads, but it's so hard to tell.
