Same thing happened to me. I booked a 5 BR house in July for Christmas week. They gave me
a conformation # and was supposed to email me all the details. (Amt. of rent, size of house, dates rented etc.) I called and emailed them for 2 1/2
months. They kept putting me off. Finially I made up my mind I would call them all day until
I got the confirmation email with all the details.
A Conf.# means nothing. they could change all we
had agreed upon, including price, size of home, dates involved etc. I got nowhere that day. the
next day I called and cancelled. They said no problem. I now have been trying for 1 month to get the refund. $250.It also is too late to dispute it on my charge. I have been in contact with Tom Martino, The troubleshooter. Look him up
on the web. He deals with scams and dishonest companies. He also has a nationwide radio show and TV show. Tomorrow I have been promised to get my money back. Supposable (Ha Ha) it was over nighted to me 4 days ago. I was told if I didn't receive it, that they would wire it to me.
I also had decided that I will contact a Florida local TV show if I don't get my money back, along
with the Better Business Bureau and of course, Tom Martino. What I found out by searching the
internet, The address Emmitt St. does not exist in
Kissimee. The zip code is for Post Office boxes only. Not for an area in Florida. The phone #
exchange is for the Miami area, not Orlando or Kissimee. Every time I call, which numbers at
least 100 times, I always get the same George ? Jorge person. If he is not in the "office", it is
forwarded to his cell phone. I have never talked
to anyone else over the past 4 months. Sounds a little suspicious to me. I just thank God, I cancelled when I did. The same day I booked another house, 5 bebrooms, 4 baths for less money.
Within 1/2 hour I had all kinds of email documentation. A contract with prices, dates, directions, key instructions. Pictures of all the rooms, pool etc. I notice USAresortcondos.com will only show outside pictures of houses and on
the top of each page it says "typical" Sounds like
Scam to me. Good luck. Let me know how you make out.

Maybe if you contact a local TV station in Orlando and they can get their special consumer person that handles complaints, they may be able to investigate it. You'd be surprised how fast some people get their refunds, etc., once a TV station is contacted. Best of luck to you.

I had a bad experience. Am still waiting for a settlement. I booked two 4br houses for my family
reunion
last Aug. (comming in from all parts of the US)when we arrived they did not have the
houses we had rented and could not find us any.
We had to stay at hotels, separated, and paid outragious prices. I have not got gotten refunded
yet. All I get is the runaround. I have hired a lawyer.

My family and have just learned that we may have also fallen victim to this scam. We made reservations with USA in January, for our kids' spring break in March. We also dealt exclusively with "George." He told us that he would only bill $250.00 to our credit card and that we could pay the balance later. He not only billed the entire amount to our card but even charged us extra. My wife has called numerous times to try to correct the problem and he always says he'll call back or that she'll have to deal with someone else - trouble is the someone else is never there.
Now after reading this thread, we're obviously trying to cancel our reservation but we're concerned that this may prove to be difficult or impossible.
Did any of you have any success in getting your money back and, if so, would you share your secrets with us???

I think we have been scammed too by www.usaresortcondos.com. We visited the site and booked a condo at Windsor Palms near Disney. The problems began when they charged our account the full amount instead of just the deposit.
It seems this group has addresses all over Florida, and *may* go by "Resorts USA" too.
Fortunately because of this website and additional research we were alerted to this scam. We were able to dispute our credit card charge, and hopefully will get a full refund.
I was told by a FL state office to also file a complaint with http://www.800helpfla.com/~cs/ccform.html
Best of luck to you all!

It seems as my family and I have been scammed as well. After reading all the comments above, the problems are all the same. We booked a home in Feb for Spring Break in March. He told me the deposit was $250 and he took out $350, which was not agreed upon. Then when I had to cancel, George (Jorge) got short with me when I asked him about the refund. He said it would be on my next statement. I have received 2 statements and my refund is not on there. I have emailed and emailed...no response. I have called and keep getting that the mailbox is full. I am very frustrated and not sure what to do or can do. Who can I turn to? I feel very lucky that he did not charge me the full amount. I wish I would of found this site before I booked this place.
Good Luck to you! Any suggestions are very much welcome. I've never been scammed like this before.

We just returned from Orlando and just like all of you we got there and had no place and had lost out "deposit". We did pay by check and am waiting for a copy so we can see what info it has. Jorge is like a ghost. He has opened and closed business all over florida under three different names!I have now realized we are all in a long list of Jorge Gomez's victims. After much digging I contacted a lady who actually was able to take him to court and win this past January. She has secured a judgement of $11,000 but will never see it. She let me know everyone is aware of Jorge but he is still out there. I have his prison release sheet and it has a photo if anyone wants it. Please email me and I will let you know what I know and the people I have contacted. Jorge must be stopped.

Well, my latest saga to the usaresortcondos story. I still have not received my deposit of $350 from Feb., and to top it off received my visa statement for this month and Jorge has taken another $500 out of my account. I am soooooo mad. I continually am unable to contact him. Congratulations Chris on getting your money back. How did you do it?
