It is possible to share a bush and wildlife experience with your children. A family safari is still one of the most wonderful thing to do together. There are many new lodges and private game parks in Africa that are geared for children. No malaria, extra safe accommodation and family friendly hosts and rangers.

We are just beginning to plan a family safari for the summer2004. We would like to do it on a semi rough style ie. overland travel with truck, camping in the bush and a few hotels to freshen up.
We would like to hear from anyone who has done such a safari and any advice,tips things not to do, good companies etc
