Fun Family Activities At Niagara Falls Area

Am vacationing in Wyoming County in July with 2 boys, ages 8 and 9. Would appreciate any information about cool things to do and places to visit in the surrounding areas, including Niagara Falls. We’re very outdoors/hiking oriented. Any ides and suggestions would help. Thanks.

Wyoming County has great hiking opportunities ... Letchworth State Park is nearby. Also trout fishing in Wiscoy and East Koy Creeks. Darien Lake is a theme park that is very close to Wyoming County. I agree with other posting to check out Clifton Hill in N.F. Ontario (touristy but worth a day trip). Consider a side trip to Toronto (2 hrs from N.F., 3 hrs from Wyoming County.) There is a fantastic science center (we do it at least once per year), cosmopolitan city, China Town, Skydome, Hockey Hall of Fame and much more.... Have fun!

In Niagra Falls on the Canada side, there in a place called Clifton Hill. There are many wax museums, and mini-golf places. Also on the Canada side, there is a place called Marine Land. They have animal shows, animals you can pet and feed, and amusement rides.
