Hi everyone - I could do with a little help. I work for a not-for-profit focusing on sustainable tourism in southern Thailand (we live near Phuket). We would like to offer some activities for children which would introduce them to Thai culture in a fun way. I thought perhaps we could have a day programme where children travel to a local school and, together with the Thai kids, learn to make some traditional Thai toys (e.g. banana leaf and branch hobby horses, traditional kites and other games - mostly from natural materials). First, do you think this sounds like a good idea? Would you be interested, and do you think your children would enjoy this? (We're thinking about primary school aged kids - i.e. from about 7 to 13). Secondly, what would your concerns be and how could we address these? Could you be reasonably specific? I know health and safety would be concerns, but what especially would you be worried about? We want to think ahead to potential problems and deal with these well in advance.

Thanks for your help
