This place should be outlawed. I stayed at that location on Nov. 30th last year with my wife and another couple. The accommodations were extremely poor and we decided to cancel our reservations for the following Sunday Dec 8th and stay elsewhere. We were going on our first ever cruise with Princess lines (which was GREAT fun! a great cruise line. We decided to cancel the following morning while we were waiting on our ride to the cruise ship. The young lady behind the desk really had no clue to what she was doing and really pressed us for time getting our ride for us (we had prepaid...don't do it!) I told her to cancel our reservations for the following week as we paid our bill and she said "OK" that it would be done.
We had made reservations for the day after the cruise at another motel for less and much better accommodations! When my bill came lo and behold Ramada Inns had billed me for both rooms for the second night, which we had cancelled! It has now been two months since I first called Ramada Inns customer service and I have called several times since never getting the same person twice. Each time I am told that it would be 5 to 7 business days before they have an answer for me. When the answer came (form letter...BIG surprise!) the person who signed the letter a Mary Job (I don't think she exists) I was told that she doesn't take phone calls...whoa Nellie! The head of customer service at Ramada Inns does not take phone calls. I should get a job like that and then I would never have to answer the phone again...just sign form letters.
I would not recommend Ramada or any of their hotels to anyone. Ramada used to be a name you could trust but it appears that is no longer the case!
