spring break in florida or south carolina?

We are debating a spring break trip: Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, or somewhere in Florida (Destin or Daytona/Ormond Beach). Three children, ages 2, 4,and 6. Not too expensive. Any ideas? suggestions? weather advice?

I would recommend Florida over South Carolina. The weather around spring break time is more likely to be warmer in Florida. If you do want South Carolina, Hilton Head area tends to be more pricey.

Options in Florida are likely to be warmer. However Daytona Beach is more likely to have the college crowds so if you are traveling with family you might want to consider other Florida destinations.
