We (6 persons) have booked a vacation in Kenya from June 18 until July 3 in hotel Southern Palms on Diani Beach near Mombasa. We did not book a safari in advance. is it possible to book a safari on the beach? which National Park should we visit? How much does a safari cost?

August and are planing to spend about a week on safari before we're taking the train to Mombasa for a week, before our flight returns to Norway (form Nairobi) 2. September. I have ordered a deal including 6nights in Mombassa and 2 days visit in Tsavo.
They offered me to add Massay Mara to the plan but it costs additional $300 for each.
Is it worth ? Is Massay Mara much better than Tsavo ?
