Travel To Europe This Summer

My husband and I want to take our eight year old on a fairly inexpensive trip to either Great Britain, Ireland, Spain, or Italy. Any ideas? I'd love to find a resort where we could stay for a 5 days or so, where there might be other children..so we're not all driving around together for 2 weeks.

A wonderful area would be Tuscany,south of siena is a small village called Montalcino,right in the Chianti region,it is paradise,great food,great wine,warm weather and the Italians are super friendly!Prices are very reasonable whatever you do...good luck with your trip.
