We will be driving from Yellowstone to Rapid City, SD on July 4th this year. We are wanting to stop half way (I figure somewhere near Sheridan/Buffalo) and spend the night. We would prefer a rustic place - It will be my wife and I and our 2 kids (boy 14 girl 12). The expedia web site has me travelling I-90 all the way but I was figuring cutting across Wyoming - Any thoughts?
