I'm trying to convince my husband that taking the kid on internationally tours / vacations as a family would be benefitial to our two eight year old girls. He never traveled growing up...I did. Are there any articles or newletters that might help give him some insight on the advantages and benefits of children "seeing the world"?

Your husband will never regret taking your children on a europe vaction we took our daughter when she was 10 and she still talks about the things she has seen it is not just in the text books anymore she has seen it for her own two eyes. And I think showing your children something like that is priceless. if you have the means to do it take your chance now because they are only young once and soon enough they will not want to go with you. I am taking our 13 to europe this summer and I hope it will be a trip of a life time, I hope you can talk in husband in to looking in to a new world.
Good luck.
