In response to Kyle McCarthy's letter in Frommer's May 23, 2000 article section: THANK YOU for explaining to the woman complaining about "pesky kids" that there are places where kids aren't allowed...and that instead of complaining and whining to staff of whatever restaurant/resort, etc. she's at, to avoid peak "kid travel times" and places. There's nothing like ONE miserable person who enjoys complaining for spoiling everyone's fun! It would appear from her letter, though, that her complaints bring action from staff/management to quell any normal "child behavior". How does a family deal with this sort of situation? How can that woman refuse to pay her bills because SHE doesn't seem to like children?!
