Is it ok to do trans atlantic travel with a one month old?

There is nothing especially wrong with any kind of travel (air, land, etc.) with such a young infant, but I would strongly recommend that you consult with your pediatrician before undertaking any travel with
infants. If you'd care to join FTF (you can do so for only $2.95 for one month's memership) you can read the "Tiny Travelers" issue we did (accessed from the homepage) which has a lot of tips about surviving
long plane flights, gear to bring, what to leave behind, etc. when traveling with kids under 3 years. You can find information about using an infant safety seat on aboard. Also, the Doc Holiday columns in the Archives section have a lot of good pediatric tips about infants and travel (ear pains, motion sickness, etc.)

When is it safe for a baby to fly long distance flight. How many days after the birthday is safe to travel by palne?

It says that if the baby is 4-6 weeks, he or she can start traveling. I'm sure you'll be happy to hear that just like when i read it. :)
