To The Editor:
For what it's worth, we watched the news stories of the attacks with our
kids, explained what happened and (as best we could) why.
I asked both of them later about their thoughts and feelings of getting on
an airplane. Both said emphatically that they love flying and are ready and
waiting for their next trip. I don't know why. But I can't help but think
that it's their traveling experience that guides and motivates them to get
back up there and out there.
