I'm going to the Dominican Republic,backpacking with the kids this summer. I want to stay in Santo Domingo two nights then Backpack the rest of the summer exploring the country. I found a ranch that has water front rooms for only $299.00 a month.They have horse backriding,hiking,swimming,camping,exploring,BQ,an d you can cook there too,in the bunk house,etc,and great things for kids to do. So far i'm going solo but, It seems like there are a few others looking for travel companions for the same time frame. I'd like to meet other travelers along the way. I plan to go to galleries,arts and crafts as well. get back to me at
