SIngle Parent -- 1 yr old daughter

I am a single parent with a 1 yr old daughter who want to get away for the weekend. I want to enjoy it with my daughter, but not overwhelm her with the huge theme parks (she's too young to get on any of the rides anyhow). Any sugeestions?

Check out the local zoos in your area. Kids enjoy seeing animals. Plus it's an inexpensive trip for the two you.
