info on FDR Jamaica

My husband and I along with four kids ages 17 yrs 15 yrs 3 yrs and 17 months are planning a trip to the FDR the first week of May. There isn't alot of resent information out there on this resort.
Can anyone tell me how good the kids program's are, are the rooms clean , is it safe, Nanny, food. Someone advised the resort was recently renovated, is this true? Sorry to ask alot of questions, but this is really our first vacation at a all-inclusive resort. (and also expensive)
Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

The vacation nannys are wonderful!! The staff does an excellent job of getting to know your family. The only disappointment may be the beach. If you have specific questions please e-mail me directly
