Looking for an off-the-beaten path, but on the water villa for our family (includes 4 boys, 8,6,4, & 2) in Grand Cayman. Like to experience the local flavor and not feel as though I'm in a "transported America." Any ideas? thanks!

You may want to check out the Retreat at Rum Point located on the north side of the island...

Look at one of the only all-inclusive at GrandCayman. It's really the only way to go, especially with kids. Very expensive there.

Beach Club Hotel and Dive Resort
Located smack dap in the middle of seven mile beach.
Great hotel because very low key and personable, staff was great! food was great! room and beach were even better.
Not too big of a room but we spent most of the time on the private beach anyway.
The island is gorgeous.
This response is probably way too late for you guys but hopefully someone else will read this.
We went for our Honeymoon in September 2000 and can't wait to go back!
