Hi All - It seems most childrens programs begin at 3 yrs old. Has any one had experience with a resort that offers an excellent program for 2 yr olds. Sorry not interested in Jamaica. Thanks.

Anna - We hear your questions a lot here, which is why we concentrate all our research on our "Tiny Travelers" issue of FTF's print newsletter. We select the Top 10 Getaways for Tiny Travelers (those under 3 years) from the many programs that now offer supervised facilities for infants and toddlers. If you have time to search our archives by '2 years old' or 'toddler' or 'infant' you'll find many reviews of resorts that are licenses, and more important, really good at taking care of this tender age group. However, you should understand that since most kids are ony parallel playing at this stage, you'll be looking at what are basically daycare facilities. Where resorts offer activities for parent and toddler together, they are noted. Outside of Jamaica (well covered at FTF) I can recommend you take a look at the Odyssey St. Lucia on St. Lucia, and at the Almond Beach Club in Barbados. If you'd consider a summer 'countryside' resort, there are many other options, too, particularly at the well-known winter ski areas who have begun keeping their winter nurseries open year-round. Let us know what you find, too.
