I've got a 3 and 6 year old and looking for a good resort on the west coast of Mexico. Any recommendations?

The fishing village of Zihuatenejo,near the much more developed Ixtapa, is a great family destination because of its many small, local hotels and lovely sand beach on a calm,shallow bay. In the evening you can take a very cheap taxi into the town and eat outdoors, shop at small crafts places and stroll along the fishing pier. It's very friendly and more Mexican in feel than the larger resort areas.
