We are going to the Reef Club in Cozumel in Aug 99. Would love any feedback from anyone who has been there. We're hoping the kids will be happy in the kids programs while we scuba. thanks.

I went last December and am going in November again after joining the Dreammakers Club. It was great because I got all the fresh food you could eat (I wouldn't advise eating the food in town) and just a serene calm beach and accommodations to enjoy. But I didn't get the ferry schedule to go back and forth to the mainland. Did you happen to get a schedule?

The facility is nice, but the maid service was poor, and the quality of the linens was terrible. The food was second rate and the hotel was fairly far from town. Unlike many resorts in the area, this one does not provide bottled water in the room, so you have to buy it in the pricey gift shop. If I were you I would try to stay at the Paridisus on Cozumel, which is owned by the same folks but is much superior. Also, the El Presidente is first rate.

I heard Allegro Diamond Resort on Cozumel is quite nice for an all-inclusive. Has anyone stayed there?

We have stayed at Allegro Diamond 3 years in a row, and will be returning this next April. We traveled with kids, and found this to be an excellent resort. The food is great! Especially the themed buffets and the Italian Restaurant.
They are convenient and very accomodating for divers, even allowing other dive boats to use their piers for pickups.
You wouldn't be dissapointed!

I go two to three times per year and have a vacation club membership there. It is a great place if you are not expecting to be partying in town every night. Email if you'd like more opinions....
