This is the best vacation my family (ages 10, 9 and 4) has ever taken. The staff is amazing with the kids. We felt totally safe letting the older ones roam with friends they met. The staff for our four year old was so caring and professional, our four year old asked to go to the camp. The food was great, the restaurants are wonderful although the service is slow, so pick a buffet if you have antsy kids. Breakfast should always be at the one on the beach. Kids will love the tapanaki.

We cannot say enough good things about this resort. Unfortunately, most people will not go because of the price. It is well over 7 thousand for a family of five in high season. We would recommend going other times. Diving is the best there, my older kids were trained to snorkel and did so every day. I can't even list all of the great things there are for families to do, like Sega room, outdoor pool tables, ping pong, fooseball, great playground, basketball, tennis etc. etc. My daughter burst an ear drum and the on-site nurse took care of her with the help of a doctor in town. We went there over Thanksgiving week and the weather was beautiful. If you can afford it, you won't regret it.

We went to Beaches Turks & Caicos two years ago with a six month old and a two year old and had a nightmare of an experience. I have read that they have reorganized and expanded their childcare and kids' programs and boy did they need it. The scuba diving program was excellent, and the food was generally very good, though I agree the service was slow. You might want to try Atlantis on Paradise Island, Bahamas. Similar price range and many fun things for the family to do.

Hi, I just read your note, could you please tell me more about why it was a nightmare -- I have three kids 4,13,14 and was thinking of going to T&Caicos. Thanks!

Thanks for your note about Beaches. I am always on the search for diving places with kids programs. We are going to the Reef Club in Cozumel in Aug. My girls are 4 1/2 and 11. I'll post info when we return. It has been extremely difficult to find a good diving spot with childcare. We need to continue to pool our info and resources for diving families.
