how can I travel with my dog from Israel to England

Hi

I live in Israel and I want to move to England for a year.
I want to take my dog with me but i know there are many problems with bringing pets to England, including waiting 6 months in quarantine.

Do you know how can I avoid it?

I have all the papers to show he had all the vaccines since he was 2 months old. (he is now a year and a half old)

dear bar i'm an israeli, living in london at the moment, and Trying to do the exact same thing. i know almost everything about it, bacially the only way to avoid quaranine is to live in one of the quallifing countries, approoved by the uk for about 9 months and in these months take youor animal to checks and vaccinations with an approved vet in that coountry. there is no way you can avoid quarantine coming directly from israel- i'm for example am going to live in greece (which is a qualifying country) for a year so i can bring my dog over to the uk. will be very happy to help you with any information you need about wich countries you can go to ect.

I now live in Hong Kong with my 3 dogs. How do I travel to UK with them. I heard if I travel to France, from France I fly to UK, the quarantine would be shorter than 6 months in UK. Is this correct? and is there a PETS PASSPORT which I can apply?
