Hi,
I would like to take my dog to Canada with me from the UK. I would not even consider putting her in as cargo and am therefore looking for alternatives. Can anyone please point me in the direction of any information regarding taking small pets in the airplane cabin or taking pets by boat? Thank you for your help.
Hayley

sorry this is such a big link but its from jeeves I can't find another link but it gives you all the info you need to take your pets to Canada - from UK no quarrentine or rabies shots needed.....must be over 8 months and have a government certificate of health...........can also take pets as hand luggage and just pay as excessive baggage ...but have to check no other pets are going then....wich I oculd do that but I don't think they would fancy 4 dogs and a cat in with us...........good luck

Myself and my partner are thinking for moving to Canada and we want to take our dog with us. But i face having to put him in quarantine, plus he would not survive without me. Please give me and info you have tht may help.

Would love to hear the response to this question as I am approaching the same predicament with three cats. Please could you let me know what the alternatives are. My cats will have to travel from Scotland to Victoria, B.C. and I want to make it as comfortable as possible for them.
